Although based in Ireland he serves clients worldwide, including Europe and the USA. Ruairi works with a small close knit team who have developed an outstanding reputation as Master Craftsmen.

By his early twenties Ruairi completed an Arts Degree in Archaeology and Philosophy. He then studied law and became involved with the conservation of listed buildings. Regardless of being qualified as a solicitor in his mid twenties Ruairi choose to establish a building restoration company. He continued working on stone built historic properties while also completing a MSc. in Building Conservation via online distance learning.

Later Ruairi worked throughout Ireland on gothic revival Manor Houses and landmark medieval Castles. As his skill set developed Ruairi  specialised in architectural stone carving and hand cut detailing, this skill set along with award winning creative ability opened the door to both private and public commissions. Projects undertaken in one area lead to and inform, work in another.

With 20 yrs experience Ruairi now works in a small number of highly skilled niche areas, including Public and Private Sculpture, Architectural Conservation and Restoration, Ecclesiastical works, and hand carved High Crosses and Memorials.

Ruairi is passionate about his work, loves a challenge, and welcomes working with, public bodies, community groups, architects, and private clients alike.
